40 Hours Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations, we held 40 continuous hours Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament,
beginning at 5pm on Friday 21st June and ending at the start of 9am Mass on Sunday 23rd June.

"Corpus Christi Quarant‘Ore (40 hours continuous Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament) from 21stto 23rdJune 2019 was an amazing experience. This was partly because volunteers willingly and enthusiastically signed up to ensure all 40 hours were covered particularly through the 2 nights, but it was more about the actual experience. For an hour, the quietness, stillness, the spiritual presence completely captured my thoughts. It was calm, peaceful, contemplative … in the middle of the candle lights. My mind was so open, so empty, and yet so full, filled with the presence of the Lord. It was an hour of unimportance and an hour of extreme-importance. I felt loved. "
